Dr. Chen is a reconstructive urologist who joined the Brownstein & Crane practice summer 2015. Below are photos of his work done in conjunction with experienced microsurgeons. Note that results vary from patient to patient depending on their anatomy and individual healing ability.

Patient D is 2 weeks removed from ALT phalloplasty. There is a suprapubic tube (SPT), dried xeroform dressing around the R thigh that acts as a scab, and a dressing around the ALT donor site. The glansplasty (head of the phallus) is created at the 2nd stage surgery.

Patient H is 3 months removed from his ALT phalloplasty and 1 week removed from phallus shortening, glansplasty, monsplasty, and phallus liposuction. The phallus is usually swollen after liposuction for several months and the final result after liposuction will not be known until about 6 months later as the scar matures.
